Dr. Pradeep S. Mohan
Pradeep S. Mohan M.D. is an Assistant Professor of Plastic Surgery and Hand and Microsurgery in the Department of Surgery at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. Dr. Mohan is board eligible in General Surgery as well as Plastic Surgery. He completed his general surgery training at Seton Hall University. He went on to Yale University where he completed his fellowship training in Hand and Microsurgery. He then completed his Plastic Surgery Fellowship at Southern Illinois University with internationally renowned surgeons including Elvin G. Zook, Robert C. Russell, Michael W. Neumeister and our Division Chairman Bradon J. Wilhelmi.
During his residency and fellowship training, Dr. Mohan published a number of papers in peer-reviewed journals and received numerous teaching awards. He became a candidate member of several academic societies including the American College of Surgeons, the American Society for Surgery of the Hand, the American Association for Hand Surgery, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, and the Plastic Surgery Research Council.
Dr. Mohan’s practice involves all aspects of plastic, reconstructive and hand surgery. His interests include aesthetics and soft tissue reconstruction of the breast, head and neck, and lower extremity. His research interests include free flap reconstruction, hand fracture management as well as tendon injuries.
Dr. Mohan is not yet board certified.
